We are a company that depends on ideas and contributions of each employee.
Your Role
As a MinuteClinic Medical Director, you'll enter into a collaborative agreement
with the Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants that staff your local clinic
for:
- Clinical support, consulting when needed with clinic practitioners
- Reviewing online Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), which can be performed at your
convenience from your home or office
- Annually reviewing and endorsing clinical guidelines
It's an extremely important role, but one that can easily fit your schedule. Most
Medical Directors average four hours per week.
This role requires:
- An MD or DO degree and board certification in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine
or Urgent Care in your state
- Active practice in your clinic's area
- A collaborative working style and ability to establish and maintain strong working
relationships
- A proactive approach and solid problem-solving skills
We also ask that you live within 60 minutes of your MinuteClinic location. This
will help you facilitate referrals and form a strong connection with the community
and practitioner staff.
